With twenty years of dedicated service in the Ontario post-secondary sector, Ian brings a wealth of institutional knowledge to Witavel Consulting Inc. His career has spanned senior academic executive roles at George Brown Polytechnic and the University of Toronto, where he served as Dean and Associate Vice-President Academic. He holds a PhD in Higher Education from OISE, University of Toronto, with a doctoral focus on the governance and responsible implementation of AI in the Ontario college system. His background in provincial collective bargaining through the College Employer Council provides a unique perspective on organizational leadership and strategic policy development.
